Ours motto is to make each kid an ideal person. Mr. Shawkot Ali, chairman of Maleka Academy, established it in the name of his deceased mother. When in 1991 he left Bangladesh his mother’s last words to him were, “Do something for your country.” And as soon as he left for Canada his mother passed away and he never saw her again. From 1991-2006 he tried several times to do something and eventually in 2006 he got an opportunity to build a school and he named it after his mother. Mr. Shawkot Ali started Maleka Academy in a tin and bamboo made house with only 8 students and 6 employees. Since its establishment Maleka Academy had been rising brilliantly towards its goal and now in 2026 Maleka Academy is well-established with 700 plus students and 70 employees with a 5 storied big and strong building with seven storied- foundation having 18 classrooms and 5 other facility rooms, in total of 23 rooms, Bangla Medium and English Version.
Since its establishment Maleka Academy had been playing excellent jobs in educating children of both genders at primary level. At present Maleka Academy has become a renowned educational institution in Gopalganj district in Bangladesh but Maleka Academy’s goal is to be one of the best schools in Bangladesh. We sincerely feel that to achieve our goal we need a good school having good environment and good educational qualities, and we are trying our best to have both at our school. We never compromise for quality. In our classes we maintain teacher- student ratio as 1:16 so that the teachers can teach properly in a congenial environment. Apart from this, training is provided throughout the year by experienced teachers in dance, music, recitation, drawing, beautiful handwriting, cricket and squash for the development of children's talent. For good education and good environment Maleka Academy maintains all the things necessary.
